Colleague Brodlija is the Director of Operations of Arbitrator Intelligence, member of Association ARBITRI and adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Law of International University of Sarajevo.

Today, on 15th September, attendees of SS on Arbitration had the chance of participating in two lectures.

The first lecture was titled “The Contours of Arbitral Proceedings” by Ms Armela Ramić LLM and Assoc. Prof. Dr Emir Sudžuka.

Armela Ramić is a legal practitioner with over ten years of professional working experience. She leads her own legal practice in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Today, students, academic and professional audience of the Summer School had the pleasure of attending the lecture of our Assist. Prof. Dr Boris Praštalo of FLW.

The lecture was titled “Arbitration Agreement”, and Dr Praštalo sought to shed light on the theoretical underpinnings as well as to provide practical advice on drafting arbitration agreements.

Students, academic and professional audience of the Summer School had the pleasure of attending the lecture of our Assist. Prof. Dr Boris Praštalo of FLW.

The lecture was titled “Arbitration Agreement”, and Dr Praštalo sought to shed light on the theoretical underpinnings as well as to provide practical advice on drafting arbitration agreements.

On the Opening Day of IUS Summer School on International Arbitration, audience was treated to a thorough and thougt-provoking lecture on arbitration, with forecast for the future of this particular means of dispute settlement.

On Saturday, 18 September at 11 am, a panel discussion was held as part of the IUS Summer School of International Arbitration. The panel discussion was titled somewhat figuratively – The Future of Arbitration in Southeast Europe: A Perspective of New Kids on the Block – to reflect the fact that the speakers were young and highly successful individuals who will likely shape arbitration in the region of Southeast Europe in not-so-distant future.

The IUS Faculty of Law team participated in the 1st International Investment Arbitration Moot 2021 organized by MediateGuru (from 10 to 14 September) and broke the ice with a tremendous success. Our team made it to the semi-finals and received high praise from arbitral tribunals consisting of international arbitration practitioners. Our Ajla Serdarević won the prize for the best speaker of the competition!
