Master Program in Comparative Public Law
Master Program in Comparative Public Law

Track: Cyber Law

(DL/Online Study Track)

Cyber Law DL/Online Study Track under Comparative Public Law MA Program is designed in a multidisciplinary manner. It covers varying aspects of Human Rights and Information Technology Law, in addition to related courses from Computer Science (CS) and Software Engineering (SE) Programs at Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at IUS. This is to ensure that candidates who enroll in this DL/Online Study Track acquire affinity with basic cyber terminology.

Cyber Law is considered to be an important and contemporary branch of legal science. Rising levels of violations of human rights through the cyber zone and related new forms of socially negative phenomena that might be criminalized in positive laws are imposing the need for thorough comprehension of the topic of Cyber Law and consequently corresponding education of experts in the field.

Cyber Law DL/Online Study Track will allow students to specialize in a pioneering and progressive discipline of law and propel their careers significantly, as they will be confident to apply the acquired knowledge in respective law firms, software companies, intelligence etc. Graduates with expertise in Cyber law are rather scarce and as such possess a comparative advantage in the workforce. Enterprises dealing with cases of security, copyright protection and civil law protection, investigations or work with cases of cyber crime, both nationally and internationally will be eager to employ skilled professionals in this field, as we stand witness of Cyber Law violations becoming an established problem in all societies.

In compliance with the existing M.A Program in Comparative Public Law, the structure of Cyber Law DL/Online Study Track is as shared :
