Master Program in Comparative Private Law
This program is a 60-ECTS, writing-intensive option, 24 of which are assigned to the design and completion of a thesis. Depending on progress with the thesis, the program lasts about two semesters or one academic year. In the first semester, students must register for and complete five courses, three of which are required and two of which are an elective. In the second semester, students must register for and complete one required courses, plus the thesis.
Requirements for Admission into the M.A. in Comparative Private Law
Candidates who earned a baccalaureate degree in law or related discipline, such as political sciences, economic sciences, criminal sciences, or criminology are eligible for admission into this program. Call for admission into the program complies with the Law, Statute and Rules of study at IUS. Successful application into the program mandates submission of documents enlisted in the call for admissions.
To complete the requirements for admission, applicants must submit evidence of proficiency in English necessary for successful completion of the program. This includes by successfully passing the Proficiency Exam with the English Language School of IUS, in accordance with the general acts of the University. Applicants may also be required to take a special test or be called for interview aimed at determining their proficiency in English.
