Dr. Pettigrew is a professor of Philosophy and Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Southern Connecticut State University.

To give contributors more time to complete their papers and participate in our edition, the Editorial Board of the IUS Law Journal is pleased to extend its Call for Papers to midnight Sarajevo time, on Friday, February 28, 2020. We appreciate your continued interest in the IUS Law Journal.    Call for Papers IUS Law Journal Please click here to acces IUS Law Journal System The IUS Law Journal is working to produce its maiden edition due out initially in Fall of 2019. Manuscripts collected through this call will go into that first issue.  The theme of the volume is “The Law and Technology in Bosnia and Overseas” and the intersection and permutations of these concepts, each of which is defined broadly. IUS Faculty of Law hosted "Vis Moot Written Training" Workshop between October 17 and 20, 2019. The workshop was organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). The training was opened by the official address of the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye Fatma Mataracı, where she welcomed the Vis Moot Teams from the University of Zenica, University of Mostar, University of Tuzla, and for the very first time, from IUS.

FLW Students visit to the Center for Forensic Examination

Students of the IUS Faculty of Law, as part of their regular course Forensic Medicine, visited the Center for Forensic Examination on May 14, 2019, where they had a tour through the departments of ballistics, biological and chemical examination, graphology examination, dactyloscopy, and cellphone examination. The tour included a lecture which was given by the experts of the said departments, who talked about their works and their everyday challenges. Our Law students had thus a chance to supplement their theoretical knowledge with the insights from the practice
