Lecture on Budapest Convention – The Most Important Document against Cybercrime
On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, within the FLW Public Lectures Series, IUS Faculty of Law (FLW) organized a lecture titled “Budapest Convention: The Most Important International Document against Cybercrime”. The lecture was held by Dr. Sc. Arben Murtezić, CEO of the FBiH Center for the Education of Judges and Prosecutors.
In his lecture, the speaker presented the particularities of the nature of cybercrime and the content of the Budapest Convention. He underlined the importance of its substantive provisions in the criminalization of cybercrimes and the procedural provisions, particularly the ones related to international cooperation in cybercrime-related affairs. The lecture was followed by a Q&A session.
