IUS Faculty of Law team participated in the 1st International Investment Arbitration Moot

The IUS Faculty of Law team participated in the 1st International Investment Arbitration Moot 2021 organized by MediateGuru (from 10 to 14 September) and broke the ice with a tremendous success. Our team made it to the semi-finals and received high praise from arbitral tribunals consisting of international arbitration practitioners. Our Ajla Serdarević won the prize for the best speaker of the competition! The speakers for the IUS Team were Ajla Serdarević and Lejla Jakupović, while Amela Tahirbegović and Salora Turkmanović provided valuable contribution in the research and drafting of the written submissions for the competition. The team was led by their coach, Fahira Brodlija. A warm congratulation to the team for a great success and we look forward to many more to come! Through this given opportunity we have learned a great deal and also showed our own knowledge and skills that brought us success and achievements. We are honored to have been a part of this competition which is an experience important for our future. Amela: I was honored to be one of the participants in this year's MediateGuru competition and appreciated every moment, the whole experience was priceless. Lejla: I entered with the goal to learn about arbitration and MediateGuru provided me with that learning Experience.
