Summary of the Ninth day of Summer School on International Abitration

Today, on September 22, participants to the Summer School attended the lecture titled “Investment Arbitration” by Kiran Nasir Gore.

Kiran Nasir Gore is a Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University School of Law. She is also Counsel in the Law Offices of Charles H. Camp, PC, working on all facets of international dispute resolution, with expertise spanning over the past ten years.

Yesterday, on September 21, participants to the Summer School attended the lecture titled “The CUSG in the Western Balkans” by Prof. dr Zlatan Meškić.

Prof. Dr. Zlatan Meškić is a full professor at the Prince Sultan University (Riyadh) since 2019 – previously at the University of Zenica, where he started as assistant professor in the year 2008. He is teaching and researching in Private International Law, European Union Law and International Commercial Arbitration.

Summary of Sixth day of Summer School on International Arbitration

On Saturday, 18 September at 11 am, a panel discussion was held as part of the IUS Summer School of International Arbitration. The panel discussion was titled somewhat figuratively – The Future of Arbitration in Southeast Europe: A Perspective of New Kids on the Block – to reflect the fact that the speakers were young and highly successful individuals who will likely shape arbitration in the region of Southeast Europe in not-so-distant future.
