First FLW Advisory Board Meeting Marks Important Step in Faculty Development

The Faculty of Law (FLW) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) organized its first Advisory Board Meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, marking an important step in further strengthening the quality and relevance of legal education at the Faculty.

The meeting brought together distinguished professionals from various legal fields, including prominent scholars, legal experts, and CEOs, who officially became members of the FLW Advisory Board. During the meeting, they met with the Faculty’s academic staff to exchange ideas, offer professional guidance, and discuss ways to further enhance the study program in line with contemporary academic standards and labor market needs.

The establishment of the Advisory Board reflects the Faculty’s commitment to continuous improvement, academic excellence, and stronger connection with legal practice. Through their expertise and experience, Board members will provide valuable recommendations on curriculum development, practical competencies, and the evolving expectations of the professional environment in which future law graduates will build their careers.

This first meeting also created a meaningful platform for dialogue between academia and practice, reaffirming the importance of collaboration in preparing students for the challenges of the legal profession and ensuring that the Faculty of Law remains responsive to current developments in both education and the labor market.

The Faculty of Law extends its sincere appreciation to all members of the newly established Advisory Board for their readiness to contribute to this important mission. We wish this distinguished Board every success in its future work and look forward to the valuable impact of its guidance on the continued growth and development of the Faculty.
