Today at FLW, an Info Day about the FLW Master Programs has been organized. The audience was introduced with the Comparative Public Law and the Comparative Private Law Master Programs. The enrolment process, the structure of studies, legal framework and rights and obligations of students were presented. The final part of the encounter was an Q&A session.

During the week May 15-19, 2023 the FLW hosts prof.dr. Lis Wojciech from the Faculty of Law of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland. We are looking forward to diferent forms of future collaboration with the esteemed professor Dr. Wojciech.

First-year students of the Faculty of Law (FLW), accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Kenan Ademović, visited the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, May 12, 2023. They attended a lecture about the Court, its jurisdiction and work, given by Ms. Vanesa Jusufbegović and Mr. Armin Imamović, Senior Legal Advisors of the Court. We are using this opportunity to thank the management of the Court as well the lecturers for this inspiring visit and for hosting our students.

Second lecture in the lectures series at the Municipal Court of Sarajevo for FLW students

On 28 April 2023 IUS students, accompanied by their professor dr. Ademovic, had the opportunity to visit the Municipal Court of Sarajevo and attend the lecture given by judge Bojana Miralem. The topic of the lecture was the enforcement proceedings. The judge Miralem has shared her expertise and experience in dealing with cases in enforcement proceedings. We thank the management of the Municipal Court and the honorable judge Miralem for organizing this lecture.

Junior students of Faculty of Law, within the course Criminal Law II, accompanied by their professor dr. Ena Kazic Cakar, paid a visit to the Penal Correctional Institution “Sarajevo”. Students were hosted by the Management of the facility who introduced students with the work of the Institution, and its the organization. They presented the main challenges of work with the convicts, their daily routine, rights and obligations and the methods of achievement the discipline among the convicts.
