Master Conference "Challenges and Solutions of the Contemporary Law"
IUS Faculty of Law (FLW) is organizing this event with an aim to gather young lawyers who are affiliated to IUS FLW, in order to create an academic discourse on different challenges of law, in different fields of law in contemporary times. Potential outcome is proposing solutions to overcoming those challenges.
Associate Professor Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar will moderate the event with current FLW MA students and a few IUS FLW alumni who will address the attendees.
Lecture for FLW students at Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
FLW students who attend the course of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, accompanied by Sen. Assist. Hana Šarkinović-Köse MA visited the OHCHR Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the visit, students had a unique opportunity to learn about the work of the Office of the High Commissioner from Ms Agnes Picod, Senior Human Rights Adviser and Mr Pedja Djurasovic,

Final Day of the International Symposium on Cyber Crime: Insights and Solutions
Friday marked the culmination of the International Symposium on Combating Cyber Crime, with a focus on addressing challenges and proposing solutions in the ongoing battle against cyber threats. The discussions focused on concrete examples of cyber attacks experienced in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Turkey, Montenegro, Serbia, and Croatia, shedding light on their impacts on various institutions and the strategies employed to mitigate and respond to these incidents.

The second day of the International Symposium on Combating Cyber Crime was marked by a distinguished visit from high-level delegations representing the Ministries of Justice of the Republic of Turkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Among the notable guests were H.E. Yilmaz Tunç, Minister of Justice of Republic of Turkiye, and Mr. Davor Bunoza, Minister of Justice of BiH, who addressed attendees and emphasized the critical importance of global cooperation in combating cyber threats.
