FLW 4th Year Students Visit Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina

On March 11, 2023, within the Criminal Procedure Law II course, a group of senior students, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar, visited the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They attended a presentation in Courtroom 3 about the organization and work of the Legal Division of the Court and the Victims Protection program. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session.

We use the opportunity to thank the State Court for their warm welcome and lecture organized for our students.

What You Need to Know about Plagiarism - Workshop for FLW Students

The workshop will tackle the issue of plagiarism students face when writing their assignments. The presenters, Senior Assistant Hana Šarkinović- Köse, MA and Senior Assistant Mirza Ljubović, MA, will define plagiarism and help students learn how to avoid plagiarism in their written assignments. The desired outcome of the workshop is raising awareness among students that plagiarism neither supports the academic process nor acknowledges other people's work or ideas.

16 Mart 2023 Perşembe günü Uluslararası Saraybosna Üniversitesi (IUS) Hukuk Fakültesi'nde “Geçiş Dönemi Adaleti: Višegrad Örneği” başlıklı yuvarlak masa toplantısı düzenlendi. Etkinlikte konuşmacılar arasında Güney Connecticut Üniversitesi'nden Prof. Dr. David Pettigrew, “Savaş Mağduru Kadınlar” Derneğinden Bayan Bakira Hasečić, Saraybosna Üniversitesi İnsanlığa Karşı Suçlar ve Uluslararası Hukuk Araştırma Enstitüsü'nden Yrd. Doç. Dr. Ermin Kuka ve IUS Hukuk Fakültesi Dekan Vekili Prof. Dr. Ena Kazić- Çakar yer aldı.

IUS, 2022 Nica. Team Hukuk Fakültesi sıralamasının final sonuçlarının yeni açıklandığını size bildirmekten mutluluk duyar: 2022'de Uluslararası Saraybosna Üniversitesi (IUS) Bosna-Hersek'teki 3. Hukuk Fakültesi olarak derecelendirildi.

Round Table "Transitional Justice: A Case Study of Višegrad"

The aim of the event is to address the main challenges of the achievements of transitional justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on the city of Višegrad. The speakers at the event will, from their own perspective, address the Višegrad case and its potential in transitional justice.    You are all cordially invited.

7 Mart 2023 Salı günü, IUS Hukuk Fakültesi (FLW), FLW Kamu Konferansları Serisi kapsamında “Budapeşte Sözleşmesi: Siber Suçlara Karşı En Önemli Uluslararası Belge” başlıklı bir konferans düzenlemiştir. Konferans, BHF Hakimler ve Savcılar Eğitim Merkezi CEO'su Dr. Sc Arben Murtezić tarafından yürütülmüştür.

Budapest Convention: The most Important International Document against Cyber Crime

IUS Faculty of Law (FLW) is organizing an event on Budapest Convention: The most Important International Document against Cyber Crime. There is a general agreement in literature that criminals have taken advantage of the inherently transnational character of cyberspace and the fact that the physical location of criminals is less important, and so the differences and gaps between different legal systems are exploited. Therefore, many attempts have been made towards achieving a harmonized approach to legislating against computer crime, and so far, the Council of Europe's Convention on Cybercrime is accepted as the best option for a solution.  In his presentation, Mr. Murtezić will introduce students and others with the importance, content and practical implementation of the above-mentioned Convention.   You are all cordially invited.

Workshop for FLW Students: How to Write a Seminar Paper?

IUS Faculty of Law (FLW) is organizing a workshop "How to Write a Seminar Paper?" for FLW students in order to teach them rules of writing a seminar/research paper. IUS Hukuk Fakültesi Vis Moot Takımı İkincilik Kazandı

10-11 Şubat 2023 tarihleri arasında Zenica Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi'nde gerçekleşen iki günlük, 5. yıllık ön müzakerede Uluslararası Saraybosna Üniversitesi'nin Vis Moot takımı ikincilik elde etti!

Son derece çekişmeli gerçekleşen etkinlikte IUS takımı, Zagreb Üniversitesi'nden kazananların ardından ikinci olarak Bosna-Hersek'in en üst sıradaki takım oldu.

IUS Hukuk Fakültesi (FLW), öğrenci olarak Lejla Yakupović ve antrenörleri Fahira Brodlija ve Dr. Kenad Osmanović tarafından temsil edildi. Lejla, yarışmada en iyi bireysel konuşmacılar arasında yer aldı.
