Podjele na etničkoj osnovi, smanjenje broja stanovnika, indisponiranost mladih da učestvuju u demokratskim i političkim procesima i nedovoljna zastupljenost žena u raznim sverama društva samo su neke od prepreka koje stoje na putu daljeg razvoja demokratije u Bosni i Hercegovini.Zašto čekati da mladi stasaju da bi dali svoj doprinos u rješavanju ovih gorućih problema kad su oni već sada puni kreativnosti, znatiželje i pozitivne energije?Cilj IUS-ovog takmičenja u izradi postera i prezentacijama je da podstakne mlade da već sada počnu da daju svoj doprinos i da predoče svoju viziju prava kao instrumenta za promivisanje demokratije u Bosni i Hercegovini.Učenike koji budu imali najbolje postere/prezentacije ćemo nagraditi stipendijama za studiranje prava na Pravnom fakultetu IUS-a.UputstvaTakmičenje će se sastojati od dva dijela:Izrada postera na engleskom ili bosanskom jeziku i slanje istoga Pravnom fakultetu IUS-a,Prezentacija na engleskom ili bosanskom kojom se predstavlja poster i njegov sadržaj.Poster treba da bude izraz učenikove kreativnosti. Može da bude u formi klasičnog srednjoškolskog panoa koji je manuelno izrađen, tj. da sadrži crtež(e) ili slike uz tekst, ili da bude kreiran na računaru. Kombinacije ovih pristupa su takođe dobrodošle.Kako se prijaviti?Da biste učestvovali u takmičenju, izradite i pošaljite nam vaš poster (na engleskom ili bosanskom) najkasnije do 1. marta 2021. god. poštom (sa naznakom „poster competition“ na adresu Pravni fakultet Internacionalnog univerziteta u Sarajevu, Hrasnička cesta 15, 71210 Ilidža, Sarajevo) ili putem elektronske pošte na flw@ius.edu.ba. Ako se prijavljujete putem pošte, molimo vas da naznačite i vašu email adresu. Prezentacije će biti održane 12. marta 2021. god. i to preko aplikacije Microsoft Teams. Jedna prezentacija bi trebalo da traje maksimalno 15 minuta. Dalja uputstva vezana za prezentacije će biti poslata učesnicima putem email-a. Posteri i prezentacije mogu da budu na engleskom ili bosanskom jeziku.Pravo učešćaPravo učešća na takmičenju imaju učenici četvrtog razreda srednjih škola u Bosni i Hercegovinin starosti između 17 i 20 godina.Zašto učestvovati?10 najboljih postera/prezentacija ćemo nagraditi stipendijama za studiranje prava na Pravnom fakultetu IUS-a.Učesnici će dobiti sertifikat o učešću.Odabrani posteri će biti dio online izložbe kako na internet sajtu Pravnog fakulteta IUS-a tako i na IUS-ovim nalozima na društvenim mrežama.

Ethnic divisions, shrinking population, reluctance of youth to meaningfully engage in democratic and political processes and underrepresentation of women in many areas of the society are just some of the hurdles that undermine democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Why wait for tomorrow to cope with these burning issues when bright young minds of Bosnia and Herzegovina are full of creativity, curiosity and positive energy! The IUS Faculty of Law Poster and Presentation Competition seeks to encourage the youth to put forward their voices and to propose their vision of how law can be used as a tool to reshape and to remould democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina for it to function for all.The best posters/presentations will be awarded scholarships for studying law at the IUS Faculty of Law.InstructionsThe Competition will be divided into two parts:1) Preparation and submission of the poster in English or Bosnian, 2) Presentation to accompany (explain) the poster in English or Bosnian.The poster should showcase your creativity. It can be in the form of a classic high school ‘pano’ i.e. it can be a work of art (e.g. a drawing, a painting accompanied with text, etc.) or it can be generated entirely or partially on a computer. A combination of these approaches is also welcome.How to apply?The poster should be sent either in electronic format to flw@ius.edu.ba (Subject: ‘Poster Competition’) or via post (‘Poster Competition’) to International University of Sarajevo FLW, Hrasnička cesta 15, 71210 Ilidža, Sarajevo) latest by 1st March 2021. This past is also present and all indications are such that the past will affect the future. The present is characterized by several challenges; a lingering of the past that directly or indirectly is impacting the populations and the outlook of the future. Young people are usually referred to as the leaders of tomorrow. Stepping in tomorrow will be a day too late. That leadership is needed now. The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is working with partners to support the government to empower young people in BiH and the Western Balkans. We have a focus on working with young people supporting the development of inclusive and consensus based policies/legislation in parallel to building capacities of relevant actors in local communities, all through youth lenses.
