Public Lecture on Human Rights Institutionalization at IUS

Students of the Faculty of Law at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) had the privilege of attending a public lecture titled "Institutionalization of Human Rights in Türkiye and the Example of TİHEK." The lecture was delivered by Mr. Alişan Tiryaki, Second President of the Turkish Human Rights and Equality Institution (TİHEK).

The event commenced with welcoming and opening speeches by IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım, and Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar, Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Law. Mr. Tiryaki provided valuable insights into the establishment, structure, and role of TİHEK, highlighting key human rights challenges and the Institution’s efforts in addressing them.

The lecture concluded with a thought-provoking Q&A session, where students engaged in meaningful discussions with our esteemed guest. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Alişan Tiryaki for sharing his expertise and shedding light on such an important topic.
