On December 4, 2024, the IUS Faculty of Law (FLW), as part of its Public Lecture Series, hosted a lecture titled Consumer Protection in the USA. The guest speaker was the distinguished Dr. Sci. Dario Džananović from the Illinois Appellate Court, Chicago.
Dr. Džananović provided an in-depth overview of the legal framework and procedures for protecting consumer rights in the United States, sharing intriguing case studies from his extensive practice. In the concluding segment, he offered insights into the state of consumer protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting key similarities and differences with U.S. regulations.
The lecture concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing participants to explore the topic further.
