Faculty of Law Welcomes Visiting Professor Dr. Judyta Dworas-Kulik, Jean Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland

ERASMUS+ Guest Lecturer

On 10 November 2021, as part of the ERASMUS+ Academic Mobility program, Dr. Judyta Dworas-Kulik appeared as guest lecturer at the Civil Law I course of the IUS Faculty of Law. Dr. Dworas-Kulik is a professor of the history of the state and the law from the Jean Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland).

At the lecture, the students had the opportunity to hear about interesting perspectives from Poland related to the legal phenomenon of religious marriage and "legal bigamy". Dr. Dworas-Kulik spoke about the historical aspects and the contemporary implications of this form of marriage.

The students had the opportunity to learn about this unique framework and to engage with the lecturer in a Q&A session.
