Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye F. Mataraci, Acting Dean of Faculty of Law, attended the 4th International Science Symposium “New Horizons in Science” (ISS2019) held on September 4-6, 2019 in Kiev, Ukraine, as an invited keynote speaker.

ISS2019 “New Horizons in Science” offered a unique platform to foster knowledge in sharing and exchanging experiences in the fields of health, social sciences and engineering sciences. Dr. Mataraci gave her speech titled “New Horizons in Higher Education: Gender Equality Principles”, sharing the outcomes of the SAGE (Systemic Action for Gender Equality) Project.

The main focus of her talk was to underline the significance of endorsement and implementation of SAGE Charter of Principles for Gender Equality prepared by the SAGE Consortium. SAGE Project and Charter was received by appreciation by the participants of the symposium
