Budapest Convention: The most Important International Document against Cyber Crime

IUS Faculty of Law (FLW) is organizing an event on Budapest Convention: The most Important International Document against Cyber Crime.

There is a general agreement in literature that criminals have taken advantage of the inherently transnational character of cyberspace and the fact that the physical location of criminals is less important, and so the differences and gaps between different legal systems are exploited. Therefore, many attempts have been made towards achieving a harmonized approach to legislating against computer crime, and so far, the Council of Europe's Convention on Cybercrime is accepted as the best option for a solution.

In his presentation, Mr. Murtezić will introduce students and others with the importance, content and practical implementation of the above-mentioned Convention.

You are all cordially invited.
