Written Arguments Training Completed by FLW Vis Moot Court Team
The Vis Moot team of the International University of Sarajevo participated in the Written Arguments Training, sponsored by the US State Department's Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) and supported by the Association ARBITRI.
The training took place in Mostar from 20 to 25 October, with participants from five universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina attending in person, and teams from Kosovo, Georgia and Saudi Arabia participated online.
The students had the opportunity to explore the Vis Moot case in depth through workshops and practical exercises that provided an in-depth overview of the facts of the case and the applicable law. In addition to the substantive workshops, the students also learned best practices in effective legal writing from Mr. Arne Fuchs who is an experienced arbitration lawyer and arbitrator.
The IUS Vis Moot team, Ajla Serdarević, Lejla Jakupović and Amela Tahirbegović, led by coach Fahira Brodlija will continue the intensive preparations for the submissions of the written memoranda (that are due in December and January).
The training on oral advocacy is planned for February 2022.
