Summary of second day of Summer School on International Arbitration

Today, students, academic and professional audience of the Summer School had the pleasure of attending two lectures.

The first lecture was delivered by esteemed Prof. Catherine Rogers, Bocconi University, Italy and Queen Mary, University of London, UK.

The audience was treated to a lecture titled “Arbitration on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Spectrum (What options do parties in commercial and investment disputes have at their disposal for dispute resolution outside of court litigation, and what is the status of arbitration on this spectrum?”

The second lecture of today was delivered by our Sen. Assist. Mirza Ljubović of FLW.

The lecture was titled “The three pillars of international arbitration: The New York Convention, UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, and UNCITRAL Model Law (the history, scope and application of these instruments in international arbitration)”.
