IUS Faculty of Law Welcomes Prospective Students to Winter School “Show and Tell” Session

On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) Faculty of Law (FLW) hosted a session withing the IUS Winter School “Show and Tell” titled “All You Need to Know About Studying at the Faculty of Law,” welcoming prospective students interested in legal studies and university life at IUS.

The event began with a warm welcome from the Dean of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar, who introduced participants to the Faculty’s mission, academic concept, and curriculum. Together with other FLW staff members, she presented the key areas of the Faculty’s academic and professional engagement, emphasizing the importance of combining strong theoretical foundations with practical learning opportunities. Students were encouraged to ask questions, join the discussion, and learn more about the expectations and opportunities that come with studying law at IUS.

A highlight of the session was the second part of the program, where prospective students had the chance to experience law in action through a trial simulation conducted by current FLW students. Designed as an interactive demonstration of the Faculty’s practice-oriented teaching approach, the simulation offered participants a closer look at courtroom dynamics, legal reasoning, and the skills developed throughout law studies - such as critical thinking, argumentation, and public speaking.

The session concluded with a guided campus tour, allowing participants to explore the IUS environment, facilities, and student life beyond the classroom.
