FLW students visited Municipal Court of Sarajevo
Last Friday was quite exciting for a group of our senior law students. They spent a day at the Municipal Court of Sarajevo. First, as a part of the Commercial Law II class, led by Assistant Prof. Dr. Kenad Osmanović, they visited the Department of the Court Registry. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical insights into the registration process of legal entities, as well as to facilitate an understanding of the practical applications of the legal concepts discussed in the course. The IUS delegation was welcomed by Judge Ramiza Aganović, the esteemed president of the Department. Judge Aganović presented the workings of the Department and provided valuable insights into the registration procedures for legal entities operating within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court of Sarajevo.
After this visit, as a part of the Execution and Bankruptcy Law, led by Assistant Prof. Dr. Kenan Ademović, they visited the Bankruptcy Department of the same court. They were welcomed by Judge Nebojša Joksimović, the president of the Department. The most interesting and challenging cases from the practice in this field were presented to them. Finally, Judge Nenad Banduka, the president of the Execution Department held a lecture about the process and legal impact of execution of legal decisions.
IUS and the IUS Faculty of Law extend words of gratitude to the Municipal Court of Sarajevo Management and esteemed judges for organizing this valuable student visit and for creating an opportunity for our students to comprehend theory in such an effective manner as it is the insight into its practical application.
