FLW Students Visit Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina

On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, IUS FLW students, within the Criminal Procedure Law I course, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar had the opportunity to visit the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

FLW study group was welcomed by representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office, led by Chief prosecutor Mr. Milanko Kajganić, the Prosecutor and the Investigator of the Special section for organized crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, as well as employees of the Public Relations Department and Witness Protection Office. 

During the visit, the students were presented with the history, internal organization and work of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 20 years of the institution's existence. The visit contributed to a better understanding of the importance and role of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings, as well as the role of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the prosecutorial and judicial system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The students asked questions related to the scope of work of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
