Students of the Faculty of Law visited the "Aarhus" Center in BiH

Students of the Faculty of Law of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), accompanied by Assist. Prof. Dr. Mirza Ljubović visited the "Aarhus" Center in BiH. The visit was organized as part of the Legal Ethics course, providing students with a unique opportunity to learn about promoting and actively advocating the principles established in the Aarhus Convention.

During the visit, the Executive Director of the Aarhus Center, Emina Veljović, MA, delivered an insightful lecture on the significance of integrating these principles into the daily activities of government authorities and the broader social community across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The primary goal of the visit was to familiarize students with the ethical responsibilities related to environmental protection, complemented by case studies showcasing the existing environmental protection mechanisms in the country.
