Iskazivanje počasti istini i pravdi: Pravni fakultet organizovao predavanje o genocidu u Srebrenici

U srijedu, 19. marta 2025. godine, Pravni fakultet (FLW) na Internacionalnom univerzitetu u Sarajevu (IUS) imao je čast organizovati javno predavanje profesora Davida Pettigrewa sa Southern Connecticut State University na temu tranzicijske pravde i slučaja Srebrenica. Predavanje je otvorila doc. dr. Ena Kazić-Čakar, dekanesa Pravnog fakulteta IUS-a, koja je pružila uvid u činjenične i pravne aspekte genocida u Srebrenici, naglasivši njegovo pravno priznanje od strane međunarodnih sudova.

Transitional Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina: A Case Study of Srebrenica

The Faculty of Law (FLW) is hosting an event to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Genocide in Srebrenica. The distinguished speakers include Prof. Dr. David Pettigrew, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar, FLW Dean, and Ms. Kada Hotić, a member of the Mothers of Srebrenica and Žepa Enclave.Prof. Dr. Pettigrew will explore the theoretical aspects of the Genocide in Srebrenica and the challenges of memorialization. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kazić-Çakar will focus on the procedural aspects of the verdicts related to the Srebrenica case, while Ms. Hotić will speak on behalf of the victims.

Pravni fakultet IUS-a ostvario zapažen uspjeh na VisMoot Solidarity Fund Pre-Mootu

Zadovoljstvo nam je podijeliti vijest o uspješnom učešću studenata Pravnog fakulteta IUS-a (FLW) na VisMoot Solidarity Fund Pre-Mootu, koji je održan kao pripremni događaj za Willem C. Vis takmičenje iz međunarodne trgovačke arbitraže takmičenje u Beču.

Naš tim postigao je izvanredna postignuća, zauzevši 4. mjesto ukupno među učesnicima. Nadalje, osvojili su nagrade za Najboljeg trećeg savjetnika za tuženika, Najboljeg trećeg savjetnika za postupak i dobili Pohvalu za savjetnika za tužitelja.

Studenti Pravnog fakulteta Iinternacionalnog univerziteta u Sarajevu (IUS) imali su privilegiju prisustvovati javnom predavanju pod nazivom "Institucionalizacija ljudskih prava u Turskoj i primjer TİHEK-a." Predavanje je održao gospodin Alişan Tiryaki, drugi predsjednik Turske institucije za ljudska prava i jednakost (TİHEK).
