Transitional Justice, Human Rights and Memorialization

Prof. Dr. David Pettigrew will discuss the importance of transitional justice initiatives for Bosnia and Herzegovina as a post-genocide society. Furthermore, he will emphasize the crucial need for transitional justice initiatives that recognize human rights and human dignity of the victims and survivors. In addition, Prof. Pettigrew will argue that it is imperative for the High Representative to establish protected national memorials at the sites of former concentration camps and other atrocity sites in Republika Srpska.
